Melora Rivera is a New York born, Atlanta raised artist who earns a living as a television writer in Los Angeles. Trained in film photography, ordained through the theater and kicked in the ass by life, she has worked on feature and television projects, reality and scripted, above and below the line.  Melora most recently served as VP of Productions at AKIL Productions. In this role she led development of Black Lightning (TheCW) and Love Is ___ (OWN) while serving as writer and co-Producer on both.
